Seen a bit of a review some where that said the game is really hard. Not Black hard, but a bullshit hits off the screen cheap hard. 7/10.

to be tweaked in several re-releases and hurricane packs to come. because, you know.....he never has time to finish the games exactly the way he wants to.

Even on the harder of the two starting difficulties, most bosses can simply be overpowered by an onslaught of attacks.

This I don't like. I'm playing Black again and while it's frustratingly hard at times, it's nice that the bosses actually require strategy to beat.

The original Ninja Gaiden wasn't too bad once you learned the almighty power of the Flying Swallow spam against the bosses.

Black fixed that and was much more challenging, I'd put Black on about the same level as Shinobi.

That's pretty horrible.

I've been pretty pumped for something harder than Black. It'll suck if I have to play through an easy normal difficulty just to get there.

Now that game was hard.

I remember quitting for 6 months before going back and beating the last boss because without a half-year of meditation, I couldn't kill enough minions to power up the sword enough to kill him in two hits.
