Re: The 600 dollars, I heard in the very beginning that it's an advance, not free money. The gov't can't give free money when they're in a deficit. They're gonna tax it and possibly take it back over time over the course of the next year or so. I would save it for a year and see what they do before spending that money. Like I said, I've heard shakey and conflicting information. I took my stimulus check and put it in an account.

Hey, I haven't heard that since the beginning, so I'm not saying it's absolutely true, but I did hear it on the news at one point. At least I won't have to worry about one of George Bush's policies biting me in the ass again later on. Only a country like America would accept something so dumb without thinking to research and second guess it anyway though.

Ah, I only got the money, but I got it pretty early though. That's good news I guess, but I still choose to save it. Personally, considering that this memorial day was the least traveled since 1949 due to gas prices, and unemployment is as high as it is, I can imagine that creating new jobs in fields like ecology and environmentalism would have been better ways to stimulate the economy than something artificial. But sorry for the misinformation then.
