That's dumb. DMC is all about combat above all else. Therefore, if the combat is better, the game is better. All of the stories fell somewhere inbetween shit and crap, anyway.

DMC3 was hot in its day.

DMC4 had fresh combat, but failed in story and level design that DMC3 got right all around.

Also im going to wait on NG2, wait for it to settle down and see what people think about it.

Combat is the primary focus but the game around the combat still has to be good, otherwise why not just make the game filled with danger room style stages and let Nero/Dante go at it? The game built around the combat was better in 3, while the combat was still at a high level. I don't give a shit about story. I don't hate 4, I think it's allright, just liked 3 much better.

I will find out firsthand tonight about NG 2.

Finished the first level. This game hands out achievements like candy. I got like 9 on my first run through of the first level.

Combat is awesome, camera sucks more in this one than the old one. I have to go to work, but I'll crush this thing tonight.

The fighting in this is amazingly fluid. I had to take a break after a few hours of playing finally.
