ALERT TO ALL TAC TEAMS: SHE'S HOT!
I just told chapter 8 to fuck off.
Rocket launchers, seriously?
And no, I didn't get the test of valor jam.
I finally picked this up yesterday, and I'm a big sissy so I'm playing it on the Acolyte difficulty level. So far, I'm enjoying it much more than the first Xbox Ninja Gaiden. It seems like they took a lot of elements from the DS Ninja Gaiden (i.e. streamlined/straitforward levels sans odd puzzles, regenerating life bar, and save points that heal Ryu), which is definitely a good thing because it makes the game more accessible and enjoyable from the start.
The first level was a lot of fun, and the level's design was a nice change of pace from starting out in Haybusa Village. The first boss was pretty damn pathetic though, and I'm not sure if its just because I'm playing this on Acolyte. Was the first boss a total freaking push over for everybody? Or is it just the difficulty level I'm playing at?
demo is up in the US store

speaking of chapter 8, boy howdy that will be fun with the claws (going for achievement)
Fuck that garbage.
Water dragon boss at the end of chaper (5)? is kicking my ass. Strategies?
attack its head, that's its weak spot (try and stay on that platform where you get the key, but if you can't just wailing on it in the water works too... I suggest whittling it down to a sliver of health so you can pull off one of the sickest OTs (Y) in the game)
edit: fuck the test of valor in chapter 8 (little crab robots and rocket launcher guards) is simply not fun with the claws![]()
