The Leafs haven't played well at home for the most part, but thankfully the Lightning aren't a good road team thus far. Hopefully that bodes well for the Leafs in their last home game before the longest road trip (7 games) of the season coming up afterwards.

Cool bit of info: Vesa Toskala is 4-1-0 with a 1.81 goals-against average since Nov. 29. Go Vesa!

you guys have a tough love thing going on. i get it

so i was at the Otters game last night wearing my Hawks jersey. the guy next to me was there seeing the London Knights. then he asked if i knew who Patrick Kane was like i was just wearing the jersey and had no clue who is on my team or where they're from or that i had actually seen him play a lot just last year.

I went to a minor league game across the Long Island Sound last year watching the Bridgeport Soundtigers play somebody or other. They're a minor league team that's part of the Islanders organization. I'd love to shoot up to Hartford someday and see Nigel Dawes and company.

The Rangers sent Dawes down? No wonder they couldn't score in regulation.

Edit: I haven't been to my local minor league team's arena yet this year. I'm waiting until the Devils come in January.

i just sat there dumbfounded. i mean i actually have the official NHL Blackhawks jerseys (the ones that are $300+) so i would hope i'm not just wearing it as a casual fan.
