The Devils need to keep this current pace. After playing last night, Boston can't keep this up.

You're anything but an objective fan, so you speculating on what an objective fan should appreciate is almost funny.

The Devils were unwatchable to anyone other than a Devils fan. The Ravens on defense doesn't make for a bad game to watch. The trap, in all of its implementations (including the current "pile 5 in front of the net when you're ahead" method", is a complete and utter bore.

So then the fact that the Rangers have trapped for two seasons under Renney must really piss you off.

Well, I'm not the one who (not purposely, I'm sure) felt the need to point out points per game in the conference as soon as his team was on a nine game winning streak.

The Rangers will eventually score more. The Devils won't.

The Rangers defense won't finish as strong as it started. The Devils might.

Lundqvist proved he's a second half goaltender last year, where he was the best in the league from December on. If he improves this year like he did last year in December, the whole league is in trouble. But, I don't think he can play much better than half a dozen shutouts, 2.00 GAA, and a 920+ save %.
