Official NHL 2007-2008 Thread

Saw/heard bits and pieces of the game while traveling to NYC.

Islanders are 3-0/3-0 against the Devils and Rangers, respectively. I didn't get much of a feel about the game, so there isn't much I can say about it.

That's ANOTHER excellent game for Marty. That's three in a row, starting with the Isles, that he's been completely on his game.

I'm pretty happy. Ended Crosby's fucking point streak, bonus. win 501, double bonus.

The fucking defense gives me fits though. Two fucking horrible misplays by the defense gave the pens two amazing opportunities, and one goal.

I love how right after Oduya gives up the goal he heads to the penalty box.

Oduya needs to get an all expense paid trip to Lowell. He took two stupid penalties and had the best assist of his career to Malkin to ruin Marty's shutout. The guy is a huge liability.

My favorite part of the game was the when Crosby stuck out her skate to trip Clarkson. When the ref had the audacity to call a penalty on the golden girl, she exploded. I thought shoes may be thrown. Then, after she get out of the box, Sindey bitches some more and gets sent back, when the GWG is scored. Nice captain you have there.

How did I forget to mention how fired up I was when I realized White was on the ice? Martin apparently had a long skate and could go in Atlanta. Rachunek missed the game to be with his wife as she delivered a future Devil. Surely there's no room for Odumbass once all the D are dressed.

yep. I guarantee that's the lineup in the end.

...unless they send brookbank down. Let's face it, brookbank often doesn't know what's going on. Like when Marty made the save on Sykora and brookbank was checking every corner of the net to see where it went.

They can't send Brookbank down. He wouldn't clear waivers.

Everyone but Brodeur, Sykora, and Crosby lost the puck on that save. Hell, the Pens announcers did too.
