I think Martin is better in his own end than Rafalski. The one thing he lacks is the deflectable shot on the PP though. Having White out caused lesser players to get too much ice time. With him and Martin healthy, Oduya won't be playing 20 minutes (No, I don't know why he is playing at all).
Montreal has an inflated record. They started hot, but Tampa scares me a lot more than Montreal does. Kovalev is the typical play only when he feels like it eastern European, they lost Souray, and the jury is way out on this Price kid in net. The Lightning have the best offensive player on the planet, now that Forsberg isn't healthy enough to retain his crown. LeCavalier was a player that I routinely ripped two or three years ago, but he grew up. He learned to play physical and to not take stupid penalties. Tampa has big holes on defense, of course, but having a lot of offensive talent in a game the Devils want to win 2-1 or 3-2 is a much greater risk than an overachieving Canadiens team.
I can't believe I just saw a ref try to give Tampa a goal that he clearly never saw cross the line. Not only did the puck never go over, but the ref got wiped out when it would have, so there's no way he saw what he called. Thankfully replay bailed out his dumb ass.

Ugh, the Leafs suck. Fire the President, fire John Ferguson Jr., and fire Paul Maurice as well (I actually like the guy but let's go for a fresh start). Trade future Hall of Famer Mats Sundin to a winner (much as it hurts), and draft Steven Stamkos with the first overall pick in the 2008 Draft.

What the fuck was the NHL thinking having BuffAHLo play Montreal three out of four games? It's not even December, and they've played five of their eight games. The schedulers need to be fired.
A fourth Flyer has been suspended by the league this season. If there's not a rue that allows the league to penalize the team for rampant dirty play, they need to implement one. Take a draft choice away after two, and every additional one moves the choice up a round.
