i was meaning to see this this weekend, ill probably end up catching this sometime this week should time permit, looks interesting.
I'm gay for wanting to see this, aren't I?
Reminds me of the book Only Revolutions' by Mark Z Danielewski. I don't really know why.
Boo, Hiss.

No, you're not gay.
I can't wait to see it. The Beatles are the best band of all time, and to create a story as told through their music is a mind-blowing concept.
Damn, I can't believe I've never heard of this before. It looks fantastic. Day one (if I have time to see this and Resident Evil: Extinction in the same weekend!).

I love the Beatles and all, but come on....
Paul McCartney (I love Paul, mind you) raped the legacy of the Beatles single handedly when he sold the rights to their songs to fucking Michael Jackson, who then cast them to the four corners of the world.
What this film does is take direct artistic inspiration, and shows us the music in a way we've never seen it before.
Now, to your credit, on my side I have the guy who thinks RE3 is going to be a good film . . .
He didn't sell the rights to Michael Jackson knowingly, he didn't intend to sell them at all.
From everything I've seen and read about this movie it's that shitty "The 60's" miniseries with 20 Beatles songs crowbarred into it. It's mindless 60's counterculture, the antithesis of the Beatles.
Ya MJ kinda fucked Paul over, which is why I'm stunned to hear that MJ is so close to bankruptcy etc. Or why he was, I don't know what happened with that.
I couldn't care less about the Beatles' legacy. I want to see a psychedelic film about kids living like they'll never grow up.
Haters get killed.
