That happens at work all the time when I'm adding chili paste to stuff.
I was making curry, uncovered the wok and got a blast of eye searing spiced steam. I felt like I dove eyeball first into a sweaty Indian dude's armpit.
I do not recommend this.

Boo, Hiss.
It was totally worth it, the curry was awesome.
I made a fruit compote for my waffles it was delish. Recipe:
*I used peaches, strawberries and blackberries but you can use whatever fruit you want*
You will need:
About 1/4 cup of each kind of fruit, I didn't measure it
1/2 cup water
like 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
Just mix it in a pot and bring it to a boil. After it starts boiling turn the heat down to medium and continue cooking until the fruit is soft and it has reduced down to the consistency you want. Mine took about 15 minutes. It was so good and not too sweet. I think it would have been nice over some vanilla ice cream as well.
I've got a rib roast in the oven.
Might make risotto as a side.
Boo, Hiss.
I made Alfredo with Chicken.
Awesome. Only ate a little bit, due to me being sick ... again.

I got some unripe nectarines sliced them and sauteed them in butter till just a touch brown. Added a splash of white wine, a generous helping of honey, and a small touch of nutmeg; removed the nectarines and reduced to a thin syrup.
Holy hell it was good.
I have banana bread in the oven now.
Boo, Hiss.
fuck that sounds good too. I wish I knew how to bake.
Also to the bakers: Should I have vanilla extract part of my pantry? I believe I know the answer, but still ....
