Thats kind of weird.
The way my job works anything past 8 hours is overtime.
And its listed separately on my checks as overtime.So you can work 4 days a week,10 hours a day, and get 8 hours overtime.And after working those 40hours in those 4 days, if you come in a 5th day,its all overtime.
Cool thing about being a manager is I get paid double for holidays i work. And holiday's i dont work i still get paid.

You mean anything after 8 hours for that day is overtime? If so, thats how mine is. Like you said, you can work 10 hours per day and get 40 hours in 10 days. If you work that 5th day, its all overtime.

I dont get paid for holiday since office is not open but I dont work and get paid (typical office procedure...unless you're in retail).

Regular pay is your hourly wage. Overtime pay is your hourly wage times 1.5.

Regular Pay......@ XX.00......40.00 Hours.....= XX.00 Amount
Overtime Pay....@ XX.00......07.00 Hours.....= XX.00 Amount

It can't be that difficult for a company to follow this procedure.

Looking at my pay stub, I dont get paid 1.5 off the bat. It shows

Regular Pay...............40.00 Hours.....= XX.00 Amount (i'm salaried)
Overtime Pay 1.00......XX.00 Hours.....= XX.00 Amount
Overtime Pay 1.50......XX.00 Hours.....= XX.00 Amount

We get paid every two weeks (15th and end of month) so the payroll is kind of screwy considering it doesnt start every Monday. So if payday is on a Tuesday, new payroll starts on Wednesday.
