I think they did McDonald's first.

Well I read an interveiw with Treasure and they were the ones that approched Warner Bros. with the Tiny Toons game ideas, not Warner Bros. I guess Treasure are huge Tiny Toons fans or something. I mean I really liked the show when it was on, and Buster Busts Loose is a great NES game from Konami. But the show has not been on for like 12 years or something (in OPM they have an interveiw with the people who did the voices for the characters, and it mentions its a 12 year reunion). Oh well, what can you do I guess. If its fun I think the licenses is not a hinderance.

If my memory of her has an expiration date, let it be 10,000 years.
Damn good idea, damn good. I LOVE Zim, and a friend of mine will soon be getting Johnny and Squoon.Originally posted by Johnny Undaunted
Treasue should mae a game based on Johnny: The Homicidal Maniac (hence the avatar) or at least Invader Zim. I think Treasure's style would lend well with either of those two.
I'm gonna sing the doom song now...

They approached WB? Jeez. How out of touch can you be? The show was barely a hit when it aired, and even then it was painfully dated. ("BE HIP! BE COOL! IT'S THE 90'S!" Yeah, I'm gonna listen to you, Buster. That whole "Beat It" routine and all that breakdancing- so very hip and current and 1990.) They should just cancel the IKARUGA port altogether and announce that Tiny Toons is their last project. With the money it pulls in they'll be able to spend the rest of their years living the highlife. Way to look like Grampa, Treasure.
Members of Treasure worked on Buster busts Loose, which was a pretty cool game, so I suppose there's a nostalgia factor.
Gunstar Heroes predates Treasure Land by two weeks.
I don't think so, considering that Konami's Tiny Toons games were released in Japan around the same time as their American counterparts.Who knows, perhaps there is a Tiny Toons following in Japan similar to the U.S. following of DBZ even though that ended in Japan years ago. As for the quality of the licence, I don't mind Tiny Toons in the least. Twas a great show...Though if I had my way, Treasure would be doing an Animaniacs game instead...BEST "Children's" show of the 90s. Period.
Even Hiroshi Yamauchi is more up to date than the guys at Treasure. They approached WB? Jeez. How out of touch can you be? 'give a man a game, and he'll bitch for the rest of the days of his life'
Honest to goodness folks, Treasure has the Tiny Toons name for a few games - will that make the actual game any worse? And even though the show has been quite dead, it's more markable than Guardian Heroes or Bangaioh. It may be a step back in aesthetic originality, but at least it's a step forward in Tresure getting to the casual gamer. Not to mention the partner select looks slick. ^_^
Don't say that. The day Treasure goes mainstream would be the bleakest of moments in gaming history.Originally posted by Hero

Eh, if the game is good enough I'll probably get it but I wish they hadn't gone with such a lame liscense (or any liscense, for that matter).
