Thread: Treasure's new GBA game - pics !!

What I meant is that with something somewhat recognizable to the mainstream (Tiny Toons), Treasure has a better chance of more people playing their game. Which means more people are introduced into their style of gameplay. Which is a good thing.

    Jeez.

  4. Must let go of Ikaruga, must let go of Ikaruga, Must let go of Ikaruga, Must....

Anyway, here's the thing; two great Tiny Toons games were released on the Genesis and SNES. I rented and enjoyed them and then as now I really have no desire to own a game of this license. Granted it could be a jewel and I'll eat those words but right now these (THESE) shots seem washed out and the backgrounds are very uninspired and Treasure games tend to have great backdrops. We'll see, the guys at Conspiracy must love me by now :P *-neo

Well to be honest the only game I was interested in by Treasure is one that they have no interest in releasing, so I could care less about them right now.

For a company that released only about a dozen good games and only slightly better then half of them made it state side they sure do get alot of praise, personally I liked some of thier games but I feel they as a company are far too overated by the so called hardcore gamers
    My sentiments exactly.

  6. First of all if you fell for the whole "Ikaruga is coming out for DC at the end of May, but Treasure has not confirmed it" its your own fault for being angry. Treasure never said they were bringing it, it was a rumor and it stunk from the beginning, and for some reason you all believed it was coming.

Back to the topic. A Tiny Toons license makes about as much sense as a Woody Woodpecker or a Flintstones license. None the less you can make a damn fine game with them if you have the right people working on them. And Treasure is a damn fine Developer, and they have made some great games. Why be so upset? Treasure has always been about making games they want to make, thats why they left Konami, and thats the main reason I respect them. Sure them making a McDonalds games was questionable, but they were just starting out. And from the sounds of it THEY want to make a Tiny Toons game, actually they want to make TWO Tiny Toons games. More power to them. I think they know what they are doing, sure Tiny Toons are dead, there is no way they can't know that. But maybe they don't care and people will buy them because they might just be great games. Its a big risk, but Treasure seems to love risks. I bet if the same exact same game was coming from Bandai or something none of you would care. But since its Treasure you do, because if they are not making Radiant Silvergun 2 or something you hate them.
    Barf! Barf! Barf!

  7. Ikaruga isn't coming out for any console in the near future. Get over it.

And could we please stop turning every fucking Treasure thread into a bitch-fest? Pretty please?

  8. heh, I like the ironic fact that people are complaining about Treasure using a decade-dead franchise for their next games, yet something as off-the-wall as Bangaioh makes perfect marketing sense.

(do NOT rip into me either, because I love me the Bangaioh)

This coming from an avowed Square whore. Square is the most overrated developer the world has ever known. Have a nice day.
