Frogacuda, this movie looks amazing! Will you make it be at the Esquire in Denver? It'd be really sweet!

Watched this last night and really enjoyed it. If I were to compare it to another movie, I'd go with Synecdoche, New York, but I think this a bit more playful and less serious than that movie. Thanks for the recommendation, Frog. It makes no sense that this may never be released in the US.
It's more whimsical and dream-like than Synecdoche. Also highly achronological. But it does have some things in common, like being set across an entire lifetime. And being generally weird/surreal. I liked this a lot more than Synecdoche, though (which I did enjoy).
If you like this movie, I highly, highly recommend Van Dormael's first film, Toto the Hero as well.

Where can I watch this right now?
I think there's some kind of bay where people like you hang out, no?
I like capitalism to the extent that it rewards people for making nice things. I sure wish i could support it in this case!

Import the French DVD when it comes out next month. It's not coming out anywhere else as of yet, even the UK.
It has to make it out eventually. I know it's not a commercially-centered movie, but I'm sure you could make a few million off of it just on Jared Leto fangirls if they put it out. How much could it cost to release an already made movie?
Or you could buy this and know the money's going to a lot of the same people. It even plays in American DVD players.
