Let's not start sucking his dick just yet. You can't ignore that his team had arguably the easiest possible road to the Finals in NBA history last year, then didn't even put up a fight, and then for whatever reason, the team he led this year regressed.

He showed me everything he needed to in that series against Detroit - he single-handedly took apart the best team in the East and one of the league's best defensive teams in the conference finals, and they couldn't do anything about it. Kobe's never done anything like that in the playoffs.

As for regressing this year, I think it's more that Lebron took the first half of the season off to rest for the playoffs, then they had to figure out how to work in Wallace. We'll see though; I don't expect the Cavs to beat the Celtics in the 2nd round (assuming Boston wins game 7).

He still doesn't have enough confidence in his J in game winning situations and he has choked numerous times already from the free throw line. I don't know if you could ever say that about Mike or The Kobester. But LeBron has the intrinsic ability to be right up there and I expect him to sooner than later. He's still a young cat.

lebron's supporting cast is a joke compared to what michael and kobe had to work with throughout their careers.

LeBron had the easiest way possible to make the Finals last year. When Mike was at this stage he had to deal with the still great teams in the East like the 76ers, Celtics, Pistons, the Cavs with Price, Nance, Harper, and Daugherty, all legitimate contenders. LeBron had to get past the Wizards with no Arenas or Butler, the old and soft Nets who had upset the Raptors, and the Disinterested Pistons team that showed this disinterest yet again by recently losing two in the first round. Put it this way, the path was so easy people thought the Bulls would make the Finals if they didn't choke and lock down that #2 seed in 2006-2007.

Kobe has had to come out of the West.
