Because Galaxy is all about gameplay. There's no need for motivation to play, no story that gets in the way, no real cutscenes. Just gameplay - and what's there is what old school platforming fans have dreamt of. All gaming challenge, no bullshit collecting. Plus it has the same vibe as SMB3, in that its a large game that can be whittled down in bite-sized stages. Blah blah blah.

Not a single sentence in this paragraph makes sense. "Blah blah blah" probably comes the closest, and the bit about an SMB3 vibe the farthest.

Mario Galaxy had me finish it to the "end" jus cause it was mario and i was waiting and hoping end game was just as good as that first hour we all played it. It wasnt.

Also having come back to the game last week, the camera is way wonky.

The fact that some of you people are going on and on about some of its faults I think is coming out of your jaded hate of Nintendo.

It was much better then sunshine, filled me with nostalgia on SMB3, and was fun to play in the beginning, it had a wonky camera and other games distracted me from finishing it. Sorry, never did i say it was bad, or horrible.

That stage was a bitch and a half.

...until I realized you could spin in mid-air and change your direction. FUNNY how I went through most of the game without knowing that.

I think Gears of Wars isn't very good and Mario Galaxy is pretty good but not that good. REMEMBER THAT BECAUSE IT IS APPLICABLE TO WHETHER YOU LIKE A GAME OR NOT.
