I rented SamSho Collection on a lark. It's no different from the PS2 one save the use of a Classic Controller. Which is almost worth it, considering what a wreck the Dual Shock 2 is for fighting games.

I didn't even realize Samurai Shodown collection was coming out on Wii, I'll finally be able to try out my modded Hori stick that I've had for months and never really used.

The Arrange levels on the new Bubble Bobble are nice, but there are some small tweaks to the way the dinosaurs interact with the bubbles that make jumping out of wells almost impossible. I even compared the same level on emulator and concluded that I wouldn't be doing much with the original mode because of it. Tweaking the handling is fine for all-new levels, but the originals depended on the game working exactly the way it used to.

So, IGN has posted the first footage of 'The Grinder'. I'm very interested to see how exactly they're going to execute the 4-player co-op.

It amazing they put out something that looks worse than the GC/PS2 Adventure Island....and it didn't occur to them to save the cash and port that instead.

In other news a Japanese newspaper is saying a new Mario game is due out this year.
