As for the video, it was a solid game, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Str8 Rippin.

lol why would we ignore that? His BR skills weren't that great, but the sniping was decent, especially the jump shots. I like how he properly dies every time he uses the mancannon.

99% of the people playing Halo would be absolutely WRECKED by him. That's why. Calling him anything but an amazing Halo player is pretty insane.

Dude, it's a lot better than decent. Like, one of the best snipers in the game getting really really hot good. And I just rewatched the first half again, I don't know why you're saying the BR is bad because the two times he had a 1v1 BR fight he had a 5 shot and a 4 shot (this was when he was spawn camping though). But yeah, in Halo 3, unlike Halo 2, you have to lead the BR.

Also, I think it's ok to mess around a bit when your team is up 20.

That's what I'm saying, too many five shots. I'm not saying I'm as good, I get a lot of six shots personally, but for one of the best players I'm not really that impressed. Except for the sniping. Maybe I should just give his opponents credit. Or maybe I shouldn't, they didn't look too hot. All three of them were clustered up in the middle at one point and didn't get much done.

Let's walk it through: the first thing he does is hit a teammate with a grenade. Then he loses/bails on a BR battle but you can give him credit for not dying outright. He probably should have had snipes up in that spot. Then he gets a nice headshot. Then he surprises some guy and gets an easy five shot kill. Right now he's in that little spawn camp area with snipe. Then he misses a snipe. Finally he puts down a nice nade and gets a body shot no-scope. That kill was hot. Then he gets a nice jumping snipe headshot.

I mean, up to this point it's nothing I haven't seen before from a legion of players. The snipe kills are decent, like I said. Sniping in Halo is like playing a different game. All the good players look the same: They snipe. More grenade kills please.

It's not his BR skills that make him a great player, it's his decision making skills. A good BR can only get you so far.

Also, if you think Opaque never had 5 shots that's laughable (I also had a better BR than Opaque in Halo 2, so that also shows you're lack of knowledge on the topic ).
