At this point I remain cautiously optimistic. I hope this film can dispel the dread feeling that Spielberg has lost his touch (A.I. anyone?), but if it doesn't please someone shoot him before he makes Indy 4...
The new Tom Cruise Movie looks pretty impressive at least from a visual standpoint and it looks to have many exiting action sequences. Tom Cruise can do a good job as an action hero so I have high hopes for this Movie.
Anyone plan on seeing it?

Well, I'm not hyped up about it, but I will definately will go to see it. Neither Cruise or Spielberg are my faves, but I will give this movie a chance. It does look pretty good in the trailer, and might actually be a good Tom Cruise film( Well I did like MI2 and Legend

I plan on seeing this friday afternoon.
I think Cruise is the man, and he knows how to pick good movies to star in. I don't like Speilberg much, but his films are always interesting, both in plot and to the eye.

Hey, go to AICN and read the bit about Minority Report (not the first story, the one ways down). If your like me, you'll get excited. Variety or Time says its Speilbergs best since Raiders (!!!), and Ebert has called it a masterpeice. The calibur of this film has been compared to Blade Runner, and both Blade Runner and Minority Report were based upon Philip K. Dick stories. I didn't care for this movie till I read that. While I didn't outright hate AI, I think it was a downpoint for Speilberg. I've lost faith totally with Lucas because of Episode 2 pretty much, so I hope Speilberg still has it down.

Ebert's writing went down cosiderably as of late, he gave EP2 just 2 stars, didnt like Spiderman much, and complained that the zombies were stupid and slow in RE movie !!!
I think he is getting the same brain tumor that Siskel got few years ago. Why else he would act so strange?
JoBlo gave it 8/10 and said the jet-pack chase scene was worth the price of admission. Joblo is one of the only Movie critics I read.
