Go back to coors lite, noober.![]()
BAsed on that list I can see that we'll just have to agree to disagree on many things beer related. I just plain can not stand ALE. Yuck! And I have yet to drink an American stout that can hang with the Irish.

LOL, as sad as it sounds I'd rather have a Coors than anything at all that says "Ale" on the label.
I spent my teenage years in Idaho![]()
Oh no, it does sound very sad. Considering the huge number of styles of both lagers and ales, and the fact that the only thing that technically differentiates the two categories is the fermentation method and the yeast. Rogue's Dead Guy Ale is a maibock-styled beer made with ale yeast.
Or would you not even consider German styles of lager? When I see people insist on lager over ale, they're usually asking for something piss-yellow that you can see through. Which is pretty damn ridiculous.
German lagers are for Hitler Youth only.
is that a pile of dried onions and broccoli Pa posted?
It was the dried leftovers of a seaweed salad from Tako Hachi. Found it in my girl's purse.
And Grave I was just trying to divert people's attention from the obvious: I am uneducated when it comes to beer. I have had Anchor Steam and didn't like it. Same with the Old Rasputin.
I like stouts when I want to catch a buzz (what beer is for) but haven't had dinner.
HEY DuClaw is having a release party for some Russian style stout on Wednesday. I'm going to give myself a belated birthday present and go have two. Maybe even three if I'm feeling spicy.
Are there DuClaws all over the place, or is this a Maryland thing?
