Thread: Official PlayStation 3 Thread

  1. im not baiting im unsure on what to get. $300 gets me the sony or samsung player, but those dont do 1.1 final profile.

PS3 is up to 2.0 ready, but at the same time it may be too complicated for these woman who just like to turn things on, insert the movie discs and go.
b_ri on Twitch, Games Beaten in 2020 (3): Pokemon Sword (Sw), Detroit: Becoming Human (PS4), Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (PS4),

I think that's the cheapest Blu-Ray player you're going to find, so why not?

  3. Though, in a true 4-set venn diagram, it would have to be ovals, rectangles or other elongated shapes so each permutation of shared traits could be displayed. Like so:

Luckily in the case above, the 20 Gig and 80 Gig have no exclusive shared traits so circles works just fine.

PS: I am a geek for venn diagrams, especially complex ones.

Yeah, wired.com needs an IGN employee as a source of information.

  7. Plus, the GameLife one is like 2+ months old...

Chris Kohler's probably as bad or worse than anyone at IGN. He actually has a book published where the theme is basically twisting history to have Japan pioneering story elements in games, and that Donkey Kong was the basically the first game to have a story.

There are cheaper, but the PS3 is still probably the best Blu-Ray player.

  10. Q: If someone owned the console previously and purchased downloadable games (Warhawk PS3, Wipeout PS1, fl0w, etc), are they full games for anyone or only the PS3 network gamertag they used? Because I don't want to get stuck someone's lame username if I grab one off of eBay.
