Just bought a $300 Slim to replace my $600 60GB YLOD system. I figure this was the best way to properly reward Sony for their incompetence.
So, the Silent Hill "Collection" has only a third of the games and doesn't include the original, one of the best in the series?

playing the new red faction. demo was terrible, game is the total opposite. namely, awesome.
Not by a large margin. Silent Hill was an amazing game all by itself. Silent Hill 2 just gave us a better, and more prominent, antagonist as well as a different take to Silent Hill that didn't involve the first hero. That said, boo for the exclusivity. Konami doesn't want my money.
Problem is Silent Hill 1 is nearly unplayable now due to just how bad the Playstation tech was. To make it any good and worth playing again it would really need to be rebuilt completely. PS2 stuff hasn't aged quite as badly.
