Oh man, 1942 was one of my favorite games as a kid! Count me in for the remake.

I fucking agree with that statement. If it's going to cripple a game that will potentially be the best-selling XBLA game you will have, why not just dump the limit restrictions? I still haven't met one person without a HDD on his/her 360.

If you're planning on getting SF:HD on XBLA, now would be a good time to commission a custom stick, as demand for the custom stick builders is going to reach ridiculous heights as we get closer to its July/August release (I'm guessing here, since SF:HD will be released weeks before the EVO 2008 tournament on August 8th-10th).

So I'm sitting here like a schmuck playing Poker Smash wondering why I have the longest chain and the highest speed level out of all of you but I'm nowhere near the highest score anywhere. So I was dicking around in Timed Mode seeing what I could come up with, and my double 8x chain only netted me around 16k.

Then I read the rules and discovered all of your dirty scoring secrets. lol prepare for scores to fall. Timed mode is done already.

hehehe. I need to get back into PS. I've been into COD 4 multi lately with friends. I got a free weekend so I'm sure I'll see you online so we can play. Bacon needs to get back on too !

Also, the 1942 remake looks pretty nice. this and Bionic Commando remake are definite must-buys !

1942 looks good, nice use of bloom lighting and some decent ground/water art. Would be a bit more interested if there was a decent shooter house behind it though. *-neo

I think the Strikers for neo geo was like this. It should be fine in this format, plenty of good vert shooters have come out in non-tate format.
