So many dicks on the dancefloor.
They have those these days. It's a thing.

Abuse of a franchise aside, anyone enjoying Fable Heroes?

I haven't seen a single person on my list playing it. It was horrrrrrrriiiiiiiiibbbbbbbbbbbbllllllllllllle at PAX.
I got a little over 400 points from XBOX Rewards deposited in my account yesterday so it took the edge off of Minecraft. That being said, it's minecraft, on your big TV and I played it from like 6pm til 1am with kid breaks in between. I love the dread of the first night, running around like an idiot to make shelter, forgetting a torch and having to sit in the dark until day. In terms of where is it VS the PC, there are wolves and weather, so I think the only thing missing is the EXP and "story" modes. Played with AstroBlue on my world and had a lot of fun.
It is kind of pretty on a big TV and 60fps.
Yeah, ShinMyk was asking about it and I couldn't explain to him why it looked better than the PC, but it just did. The Big TV (and surround sound) help, but there was something else that I couldn't put my finger on that really just made it stand out. It must be the 60FPS. Was it locked on PC?
Further Edit: The Crafting Menu no longer requires you to have the wiki open in the other monitor, and lets you see what you can build straight up from the materials you have on hand. The tooltips will really help new players get a hold of what's going on, and the tutorial could not be more comprehensive short of telling you about complex machines.
Really excellent port.

Yea, I like that too. I prefer the PC (well, Mac for me) version just because it's a game I can chop shit up while watching terrible reality shows with my girlfriend. But, this is well-done.
That's pretty awesome. The initial entry barrier and crafting system were unnecessarily obtuse to a new player when I got my version, but it was in beta (or alpha?) so no tutorial back then is understandable.
Still, I had my fill of the game and have no desire to ever play it again.
