I'm pissed I missed out on that, but my Rewards made it $15 anyway. win/win.
Best Buy was selling Minecraft download cards for $15.

Well, I like the series for what it is (ie, not what it promised). I like hack n slash games like that, which is why the XBLA game has appealed to me as well. I love 4 player co-op hack n slash games like that, Gauntlet Dark Legacy getting a ton of play from my friends and I back in college. It doesn't take much for me to have fun with it, just shut my brain off and mash some buttons. I know it isn't for everyone.

I'm finding minecraft relaxing. Afterwork I play a lil bit to wind down. Sadly I've not got to spend much time with it, so I can dig deeper into the crafting. Anyone know some good wiki pages relevant to the 360 release, so I can read up on some advanced stuff like making a synth or something neat like that?
Also I'm off monday tuesday if anyone is up for mucking about making stuff.

Aside from last night, when I forgot that I had auto-off on, I have been leaving my world open overnight so anybody that wants to, can just jump right into it and get down to business should they choose. As for xbox specific wiki's, no idea.
Update: Fez is a turd. What's the big deal?
Some hipster faggot made it.
But it's TERRIBLE.
I actually enjoyed the hell out of Fez. When it's just platforming it's simply ok, but once you break out the pen & paper to start finding the anti-cubes it becomes a lot more fun. Horribly inconsistent framerate, though.

It's got a cute visual style, solid if standard controls, a cool gimmick (or two), and a ton of very intricate puzzles that are well done in a logical way. Not liking it, whatever, but there's nothing terrible about it.
Well, aside from the map. It's needlessly convoluted and often more unhelpful then it is helpful. Feels like something that a graphic designer made without ever stopping to think about if it actually worked well.
