I finally saw Transformers a week or two back, and even though I'd opt to miss the first 45-60 minutes and cringed at some parts throughout, I couldn't help but like it. Especially once all the human blathering was out of the way once they got the All-Spark.
Good or bad, I'm going in with higher expectations for the sequel.

It was a 2 1/2 hour schizophrenic army commercial about a boy with mental disorder's and a girl with crisco for sweat running away from GMC's 2007 summer line of cars.

Hows this, I'll only talk about how shitty the sequels gonna be from now on.
I had a lot of fun with the first movie. Granted, I only saw it once and I was as stoned as shit but I suppose that'll likely work with the second as well. I'd like to see it in HD at home, just to take a look at the robots in action again. If you skip all the parts without them, it could be a pretty good movie! I thought Prime and Megatron were absolutely awesome in action.
For some reason this is my favorite way anyone has summed up Transformers.

Its not perfect, and I still hate most of the human parts in it, but with the magic of HD and remote controlled fast forward, it still enjoyable time waster
