the people defending it were smart enough to go in without any expectations other than "big robots" and "big explosions", which the film delivers in spades

I'd be mad too if I gave enough of a shit about the plot to notice it's all over the map and barely makes any sense

From what I've been told, even if you do go in expecting just robots and explosions it sucks because it's draggy and boring and an hour too long.

So if it sucks on an actual decent movie scale, and sucks for a dumb action movie then what the fuck is the point?
