The mist has also been turned into an audio drama recording also. I was listening to samples on stephen kings website awhile back.
I hate Bay, but Transformers wasn't terrible, I mean the lead actor was a faggot nerd, but what else could you have?

I already am.
And the Bad Boys movies, and The Rock are the exceptions to this shit. They were competently filmed, and therefore their humor, action, and whatever other shit weren't drowned out in a slew of quick cuts, and shaky cam fun.
Armageddon, Transformers, Pearl Harbor, The Island, and anything he makes from now on, are victims of this shit. Its like instead of giving you a good action scene, he films a trailer of the action scene and cuts it the fuck up. Therefore he's a terrible fucking untalented director.
Anyway back on topic, The Mist will at least be a cohesive movie since Frank Darabont is directing it, and thats a good sign. So far he's 2/2 when it comes to Stephen King movies (The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption).

The action scenes in Transformers were wretched crap, totally unwatchable. Sure, there was a nice sense of solidity to everything, but the camera was too close and there was no sense of area, plus I couldn't tell one robot from another when they were hitting each other. Just amazingly awful.

What about the scene with the fat kid shouting in to his phone for no reason as meteors were coming down? Oscar nominee IMO
