I really think racism is kind of funny, and kind of okay. Everyone is always going to harp on the differences between each other. You can't stop that -- you never will. It's like running a war on terror. You can't stop terror. When you turn the lights off at night some children are terrified (pussy kids, mostly). I don't give a shit if someone is black, or someone is white. You get the same treatment from me regardless (it's the same mentality I brought to the door opening thread).
It's when people just stop caring and laughing at the differences between us when you truly get beyond that and move on to accomplish something meaningful. So yeah, we like cornbread and watermelon. And we like potatoes and drink a lot. And we like rice and are good at math. Okay, lets move on. So basically the recoiling and gasping people do when hearing the word nigger is empowering it.

I don't look at people based on skin-color and I think modern "civil rights" is part of the racism problem. We all need to stop focusing on who is black, white or yellow and just start looking at each other as people.
I was speaking about Barrack Obama with somebody recently and they said they didn't think he could become President because he was black. Before this conversation, I never looked at Barrack Obama and said "he's black", I judged him just as I would anybody else.
Because he's not, maybe?
I know russian jews that are darker than that guy.
I doubt there would be any attention at all paid to this if he had called someone a spic or a chink.
There's some twisted obsession with the idea that the word 'nigger' is single-handedly oppressing black people, and it's just silly.
There is a lot of racism and a lot of racist people in america, and trying to sweep it under the rug and pretend it's just some fringe element is only going to make things worse.
He's not black? You do realize the only qualification you need for being black is... well... being black.
