But you have to admit, when someone says 'Stand Up Comedy' 85% of people in the world think of Carlin, Pryor, Cosby and Seinfeld. Yes there are other greats like Eddie Murphy, Steve Martin, Roseanne Barr, etc... but Seinfeld is top draw.

Why are we having this discussion?

Seinfeld is one of the greatest stand-up comedians alive. This is beyond any real dispute. If you ask any of the comedians other people have mentioned in this thread, they will agree with this statement. Personal preference aside, no reasonable person can deny his ability. Yeah, Louis CK and Patton Oswalt and George Carlin and Dave Chappelle are all great, but so is Seinfeld.

As for the Larry King appearance, I think Seinfeld was being a prima donna. Yeah, he was trying to play it off for laughs, but he was genuinely pissed off by what he perceived to be King's lack of respect.
