i dig that poster reminds me of the 60s and early 70s
This is the bleakest movie imaginable. I felt punched in the stomach afterwards.
I really enjoyed it.
Also Tomei's tits still look delicious.

They show up a LOT, too. Highlight of the movie IMO.
I didn't enjoy or like this movie, but I absolutely respect it, if that makes sense. I honestly felt an urge to walk out about 30 minutes in, I'm glad I didn't.

The second scene with the jewelry-launderer is one of the blackest things I've ever seen in a movie. Just wrong. He takes such a joy in telling the man that his son is responsible, and of course, the man goes down a path of revenge immediately afterwards.
Such a ballsy movie. I've got to think about this one for a few days.
Yeah, that scene was brutal. Also the final scene with Seymour-Hoffman was brutal to watch as well. He was absolutely amazing in this movie, I'm continually impressed by how great of actor he is.
I think you'll come to like it when you think about it a while. It's not a watch often type of movie, but it's incredibly well put together and amazingly well acted.
