Truth. As elitist, bitter, and assholish as we all seem, when it comes down to it I'd say 99% of us here are really great people. I didn't participate in the gift exchange last year, but like you said it's amazing how generous people are to people they most likely haven't met in real life, let alone had an actual conversation with outside of this message board (myself included).

This is pretty much why TNL is by far the best interweb community out there.

I stuck with cheap books in general since shipping will be high. (although it doesn't look like it's too bad for just books which is nice)
