Didn't see a thread on this, the best movie I've seen in several years.
Saw it on Saturday, and it's about to leave theaters, so I implore TNL to find it while it's at your local dollar theater and experience a knowledgeable, character-driven, topical film.
I know there's a lot of love for Heat on this board and this is probably as close as we'll get to another movie that feels as authentic and cool as that. It really does feel like a Michael Mann movie (he exec produces).
Very good action scenes combine with some excellent commentary on the War on Terror for a really special movie.
We saw it back in September and loved it. It felt very Michael Mann like, great cinematography, interesting story and locales and excellent action in the last 30 minutes. Definitely one of the better films of this year.
