  2. No way was this the best film of last year, but it was definitely interesting. More Josh Brolin, BadAss, pls.

  3. Great, great movie.Chigurh wasnt comical or likable at all. I was surprised by how disturbed I was by his character.
And I dont know how people wouldnt understand the ending. I thought it was wrapped up quite well. Im assuming people just arent getting the metaphorical dream Tommy Lee Jones is reciting at the end. I just took it to mean his dad died and moved on from this cold, dark world into a better place, and soon he would follow - away from all the fucked up shit in this day and age.

-I didnt know about Tommy Lee Jones imagining Chigurh in the hotel room. If thats the case, the scene wasnt handled very well as the whole time, I waiting for Chigurh to pop him through the door.

-That and I kind of wanted to know how Woody Harrelson's character and Chigurh both knew Brolin was in the hospital? A second tracking device in the money? and from there they assumed he was going to need to go to a hospital in the area close to the border - and that he'd think he was safer in one across that border?

-And, I think Chigurh killed the wife, as he was wiping the blood off his boots after walking out, and the car hitting him was 'karma' from that...

  4. I don't think he was imagining the hotel room scene.. does anyone else?
    "Hah, Greg, you're terrible!"

I completely agree with you. I've never read the book, but I think the title even implies this. This is no country for old men like Tommy Lee Jones' character, who long for the days where sheriffs didn't have to carry around guns, when people still addressed you as "sir" or "ma'am". His world, his time has passed.

There's no reason to doubt that this occurred, though I don't buy the karma bit. One constant theme in this movie, as we saw Lewellyn fall victim to, is that you never see it coming.

  8. And we found out what beer leads to.

Bullets to the chest, face down in the pool.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

He almost certainly new because he was tailing Chigurh and probably following the same leads as him.
