I don't know, but Starbreeze is good at making them.
Inspired by the Ghostbusters thread, what movies licenses do you see becoming good games? The idea that the original cast is getting involved in making the GB game essentially a third movie gives me hope that a) it will be worth a shit and b) we'll see more of this kind of thing.
So, what movies would you like to see "revived" as games, and how would they play?
Besides Back to the Future, I personally would like to see an "Aliens" squad-based online game. It would be class-driven, so you've got only one guy with a motion tracker, one guy with a flame-thrower, smart gunners, etc.
You'd have a "squad leader" back in the APC watching p.o.v. cams of all the soldiers, giving advice, watching cams fuzz out as characters get offed. You'd drive in and provide an extraction point once whatever the objective is complete/everything goes to hell.
Similarly, you'd have a "queen" on the Aliens side, who controls the warrior aliens in an RTS fashion.
Set it up time-line wise as a sequel to Aliens, bam.

I dunno, seems like Starcraft is as good as it'll ever get.
My vote goes for Mad Max. I can see a GTA style game set in a post apocalyptic world. Battle others for their gasoline, fly whirlybirds, protect villagers and ultimately attain hero status. Throw in a thunderdome and you're pretty much set.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."
A non-FPS, non-portable Predator where you play the Predator.
I forgot that shitty PS2 game existed. Fuck you for reminding me.
I wouldn't mind seeing another multi-genre TRON game. TRON 2.0 didn't do it for me.
Say was there ever a good fps Aliens game?
