Terminator Salvation

Okay, so Despair and I don't agree about Wolverine (I liked it, he hated it), but at least we agree about Terminator Salvation (although I liked it, I agree with all his bitching. It wasn't even 10% the movie it should have been).

Why the fuck T800 was toying with Connor?? Instead of breaking his bones/neck he picks him up and throws him AROUND. Over and fucking OVER.

Maybe Arnie didn't know that John Connor had just used an invincibility power-up. I mean, you'd think throwing a human being across a room and into a metal wall hard enough to dent it several times would maybe take a normal person out of the game.

However, in the end of T1 the Arnie-bot bitch-slapped Kyle Reese just once and that was enough to almost kill him. Funny how that works.

You know Dole, I think Woverine was a better action flick. Both these films shared huge amount of stupid in them, but in some bits Salvation, had more.

What really bugs me, and few people before is that how LITTLE of future WAR was in this film: I will give you count of ALL terminators in this:

1 half broken T600 chasing John in beginning. 1 T600 chasing Kyle and Marcus in LA. 4 Bikes 1 Haverster, 2 HK 1, Trasport. Like 7-8 Snakes that is ALL untill the Grand End that gave us:..... hold for it..... 1 T800 and 1 gimpy T600. That is ALL in the movie that is about mankind vs Million Robots Army. They showed us glimps of HK Tank on the wall so I guess we should be happy.

I also do wish they kept JC as terminator original concept. The Heart ending is really corny and logic defying.

What really bugs me, and few people before is that how LITTLE of future WAR was in this film...

It's been stated that Terminator Salvation is the first of a new trilogy, so we probably won't see the Future War until the third movie. However, judging from this movie's opening weekend performance, we probably won't even get a second movie.

Hey, even LOTR Felloweship of the Ring, which was first film in trilogy had more than 2 baddies,

I do hope IF there still make another T flick they would learn from mistakes of Salvation, which is too fucking unlikely.

To think, I liked 2nd season of TV series better than this.

I liked the second season of the TV series better than T3. It was really good, actually.

John Henry by itself was better character than sum of all parts in Salvation

It also funny how this movie had its title twice in the opening credits. Just in case you forgot what movie you are watching, or came in few minutes late.

Motivation was hilarious here. "I need to find my new friend Kyle Reese." "I need to save my new friend who hates me John Connor."

But nobody had worse motivation than Skynet: "I need to engineer a new type of cyborg to befriend Kyle Reese and confuse John Connor and get them both to Skynet City where I will allow them to sneak in and then sic my robot factory on them, hoping they won't find the place where we keep all the nuclear power cells for said robots and just blow it all up. Much easier than just killing Connor. Or Reese."
