I liked the music in FF4, 6, Secret of Mana, and Chrono Trigger. Quite a bit actually. In fact, most of the games I remeber from my childhood days are linked to thier music.

This is true for me as well. And I imagine for most people, whether they realize it or not.

Maybe that's why I like C64 and Amiga games so much. Even mediocre titles often had absolutely fantastic music.

LAN Hang 'em High > Deus Ex

SSBM is an odd beast, but has arguably achieved its goals better than any other game. I'd say it has more robust multiplayer and singleplayer options than VF4 as well. VF4 Evo's training mode was very in-depth, but I wouldn't say I really had all that much fun going through it. Also, like with Halo, when you get 4 or more people playing and having an awesome time, it trumps a max of two.
