    I believe it was in Game Over. He said it was rushed to market and he wasn't happy with it. Yes, I know that doesn't mean it sucks, but it does confirm my view that it simply isn't as polished as other Marios.

    Hmm, I have read the book five or so times (minus the Tetris stuff) and I don't recall that (although my memory is probably going downhill). It doesn't surprise me that he would have felt rushed, though. The only Nintendo-developed Mario games that felt less than polished to me were SMB2j and Sunshine.
