Careful. He's a two first name frenchie, so that's probably a hate crime.
If the Last Ninja (C64) does not make this list, I'm flying to Cali to beat the holy shit out of MarkRyan.

The Last Ninja is just as bad as those horrible Spectrum platformers like Manic Miner. Worse, actually, because the isometric perspective makes the platforming even more annoying.
Though I do admit it has great graphics and music.
Last Ninja isn't as good as it was twenty years ago. The rock jumping part is horrible since you can't just save before it, and we're not used to games being that cruel today. The game is still really cool overall, though. Especially since they're factoring how good something was, it deserves to be in the top 100.
I only played the NES port of Last Ninja, and it was horrible. I chalk it up as a bad port.
NES Last Ninja is horrible. They ruined the controls and style. It's also a port of Last Ninja 2 despite the name.
Yes C64
Well, I can't really argue with the top three. Top two are predictable for a reason, and the third is something I'm glad to see wasn't forgotten.
That top ten makes me want to vomit. You can tell that IGN is made of up exactly two groups. One played lots of different PC games. The other had either a SNES or a PS1 as their first system and have no breadth of knowledge whatsoever. Nintendo completely dominating the top 10, especially with two Zelda games, is just ludicrous.
