    ohhhh.

  2. in my neverending quest to find the worst scenes ever put to film, I got myself a copy of Mega Force and now find myself questioning Barry Bostwick on an almost hourly basis...

... because you know, the bad guys never win, not even in the 80s!

  3. Wasn't there some robot that had a phallus-esque attack or something in Robot Jox? Yeah, I heard about that and any interest I might have had evaporated. Even though it had Sikes in it.

Some parts of the movie just seemed a bit dumbed down as if Ferrara thought his viewers were idiots. I like the movie, though, it has its share of quotables and you can't help but appreciate the cast. It's like me with Scarface; I like it but realize that it's a terrible movie.

    ohhhh.
    Hater in the house!

  5. Actually when you put it that way it does make sense. Still I love it and I think Scourge should pick it up. It is an unforgettable Walken movie fo sho.

  6. Jackie Chan's Who Am I (the final fightscene was pretty awesome)

    and Jackie Chan's First Strike.

  7. Watched Jungle emporer leo, it was fantastic. Like anything that involves Tezuka (well mostly).

  8. Went and seen In Bruges. Colin Farrell didnt suck! Nice black comedy about 2 hit men.

Also tried to watch There Will Be Blood. Got through most of it but fell asleep for the last quarter. The movie was just too damn long for its own good. There was a guy that was from the same city I live in right now. That was pretty cool.
Korly-"Everyone here is an asshole, SURPRISE!"

I just saw Eyes Wide Shut again, this time on Blu-ray and I still don't understand all the hate this movie gets. I think it is fantastic, very surreal, fluorescently coloful, eerie, sexy, well-acted, well-directed, with relatable plot undertones (fidelity). This has to be up there with Barry Lyndon for Kubrick's most underappreciated films.
Barry Lyndon is such a gorgeous movie, I really liked it. A bit slow in parts but nothing like Kubrick's other work. That movie needs a high def release for real.
