Christmas is coming and I like cartoons. Thus, I am hosting a holidays animation festival for my college. I figured I have a vast enough knowledge of animation to choose a diverse program. Well, I'm about half-right.
See, the school wants more than Christmas. That's tough. I know the Rugrats have a Hanukkah special, but nothing else jumps out at me. Any suggestions? Anything foreign that I can find on DVD or online?
However, I know of a few things that NEED to go on...
Tokyo Godfathers is oddly enough one of my favorite holiday films of all time. Granted, given that criteria, there's not much competition. However, I really do like National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation a lot...
Mega Man: Wish Upon a Star: Let's just say it's fun watching Dr. Wily get chased off by kids after stealing their Japanese, holiday candy.
Disney's Little Match Girl: Oh, my God, yes. I will be administering an eye-moistness test after showing the short. If anybody has dry eyes, I'm defenestrating them.
Honestly, anybody who's main holiday intent is mall-hopping needs to see this just to put life into perspective.
A Very Merry Cricket ftw.
Agreed? Also, any suggestions for non-denominational winter holiday, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa (bleh), or winter solstace animation?
Also, I'm aware I'm missing the obligatory Charlie Brown, Frosty, and Rudolph specials. While I still consider Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown as the best Christmas-related ANYTHING of all time, I'm trying to stay away from the things you see EVERYWHERE halfway through December.

Will Vinton Claymation Christmas if you're drinking. A lot.
First things that came to mind were various anime series Xmas episodes. However, The Big O might be an option with "Daemonseed" for amusement.
Garfield Christmas special. Just watched it again.
Odie builds a back-scratcher
Christmas comes to Pac-land
Sadly and seriously, this was the first thing that came to mind with holiday special.
PS: They end up having a good old fashioned Christmas down on the farm. (A little over eatin' never did them any harm)
I used to have this tape that had all of these super fucking awesome Christmas specials recorded right off of TV in like 1987, and I taped over it in 1993 for some Family Channel Sea World special that my mother wouldn't let me watch because it was dinner time. If I could go back in time and beat the shit out of myself for something, it would most definitely be that.
Oh, and:
