I'm really hoping NiGHTS doesn't completely suck. It has certainly shaped up a bit from the screens they first showed of the game, but... I'm not getting my hopes up. Not that I could afford it at this point anyway...

I wouldn't say the original sucked, but I wouldn't consider it great either. It was a fun game, and it had some great charm to it, but the gameplay itself wasn't really that great even back in 96. If it plays the same as the original, I will be extremely underwhelmed.
