The World Ends with You

Couldn't find an old thread to bring back from the grave, so I'll start a new one:
IGN has reported that It's a Wonderful Life for the Nintendo DS is being translated and released in Europe as The World Ends with You.

The combat system in The World Ends with You utilizes the DS touch screen and microphone. Neku has psychic powers he can use to read people's minds and put words in their mouths. He can also trade items he shops for in Tokyo with other Nekus via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

The artstyle alone looks killer for this. Here's hoping for a US release.

This is the absolutely worst game concept I have ever heard, even before I saw that it was on DS.

wait....he has to collect fashionable clothes and friends to live? sounds like society to me.

I love the art style in Kingdom Hearts 1/2 and I think this looks awesome.

I can't wait to try it.

Also, I read somewhere that earlier this year SE registered a name for this in America, so you'd think there is a good chance of it getting ported and coming out here as well.
