It's normal for all pads on the POS kit to register poorly.
A cheap way to improve the registration is to open up the pads, and put a penny on top of each of the sensors. The extra pressure on the sensors improves their registration.
Is it normal for the green pad on the drum kit to register hits slowly? Because I don't think it is.

Fuck each and every single one of you that has the achievement for finishing the drum solo tour on hard.
How the fuck did you beat Run to the Hills? I know the beat but it's way too fucking fast. Even on 50% speed I can't hit all the goddamn notes, and it's the only song left for me to pass.
So fuck you all. Assholes. I'm 35 songs into the expert tour too.
It's the only goddamn ahievement I'll never be able to get. That and AN-I-MAL.

I think that song is easier on Expert than it is on Hard. You can probably cheat your way through it by ignoring the left hand for most of the song. If you save one or two overdrives for when you really need it, you'll get through the song.
That's what I do in Band World Tour mode, anyway.

There really are no tricks for beating "Run to the Hills."
You either have the speed/stamina or you don't.
You are hitting the gallop pattern with two-hands, right? That's about the only tip to give.
That, and your drum kit just might not be up to par when it comes to registering hits, which you can fix by bolstering the registration sensitivity (penny mod).
yeah but at that speed I'm just not coordinated enough to hit it well. It's the damn triplets, my left hand tries to lead and then it fucks it all up. As long as I maintain RLR RLR it's good.
