Yeah I never could get my shit synced up properly in RB 1 regardless of how many times I messed with it but it only took me a try or two in the RB 2 calibrator and I was set to go.

I got drums.

I finally fixed the yellow pad and the drum pedal on my shitty RB 1 kit for the first time since they broke on day one of playing the game (Motorhead's to blame for that).

Some of these drum songs are balls-hard.

Pretty much all of Moving Pictures owns me (especially "YYZ"), as does everything on "Peace Sells..." except for the lone cover song ("I Ain't Superstitious").

I can't even read the bass drum beats in the Megadeth songs, much less play them.

You can tell they definitely wanted to up the challenge this time around now that people actually have access to better kits.

I'm still amazed that they expect people to be able to play those Megadeth songs with one pedal, though.

I still haven't played every RB2 song. Most of the metal makes me want to die.

Oh and Dream Theater. Fuck those guys.

And it's a shame that setting up two pedals doesn't really fix the situation as it can't register both pedals fast enough, making it worse then just using one pedal.

I find it hard to believe that a computer can't register a closed circuit faster than a human can stomp. Have you tried with a double bass pedal and two reed switches?

i've tried hooking up two of the bass pedals for RB with a splitter and by connecting one into each of the outputs in the back. Both times it made it where it almost didn't even register any of the hits. Thats just my messing around with it, so maybe there is a way to get it to work.
