people without power are powerless.
HA!!! yeah I laughed at myself there.
I didn't read a single post in this thread, but I watched what was happening on the news.
I remember 2 or 3 years ago (could have been more, the alcohol is fucking my brain like a cheap prostitute with 3 teeth) but I remember an ice storm and my house losing power for about a week. I slept in my brother's waterbed with full longsleeve shirts, sweat pants, and a winter jacket plus a winter hat, and woke up several mornings sick as hell. It was not a fun time.
In the wake of that, I watched the news and saw a redneck grandmother of 8 lighting a Newport off of her range which she was using to keep warm.
The middle states are fucked. Long live The Coast!!!
You slept on an unheated waterbed? Seriously, the floor would have been more comfortable and healthier.
James
you are so right.
I hadn't even thought of it at the time, but my bed then was a futon matress on the floor and a waterbed seemed a better option.
I went to bed every night feeling nice about laying in a waterbed, and woke up several times each night having to blow my nose and or sneeze and or get another blanket.
only someone with nothing better to spend their money on has a heated driveway.
seriously, besides being a lazy asshole, there is no reason you should ever spend money on that.
buy a fucking shovel and get to it.
non filthy-richNew Yorkers back me up.
I wouldn't buy one anyway Pine, I couldn't get my snowmobile out if my driveway was heated and it probably costs like 100 grand, that's more for morphix than me.
Do you think if I go to Gamestop they'll give me a trade in on a heated driveway?
Okay, that's stupid and you would have to ask your dad and mom for permission. It would be an awesome anniversary gift though.
