I've only seen the first 15 minutes. Honestly, it was pretty sweet. I don't understand why the dwarf looks exactly like a human, but whatever I guess.
Same. I just don't give a shit.

Watched it again on blu ray. I kind of love it.

I was walking through a store and this was playing on the TVs. I have no idea what was going but it was a scene with a bunch of orcs or something hanging out on some rocky place and it looked like a high budget Mortal Kombat movie. I only saw the dude with the hook hand from behind but if I didn't know better then I would've guessed that when he turned around it would've been like Baraka's brother.
I'm not sure why I felt so strongly that it had to be MK, but I did.
Jackson should totally do an MK movie next. A trilogy, in fact, like Lord of the Rings, but with uppercuts and fatalities.
A 9-hour Mortal Kombat trilogy would pretty much be the best thing ever and, needless to say, preferable to this slop.
I'd actually go to a theatre for that.
I really liked the Hobbit.
So did I, although not enough to warrant a B-ray purchase. It was a good excuse to hit the movies. I felt the same about TLotR.
I like this talk of an epic MK trilogy! I wonder who would play what now... If time machines existed then the obvious choice for Raiden would be the dude who played the same character in Big Trouble in Little China.
...because without the bitter, baby, the sweet ain't as sweet.
I'll buy the normal Hobbit Bluray but I'll hold off on any extended edition copies until the inevitable trilogy box set.
