You're probably trolling but in case not: Less little kid action. The Hobbit was a story for kids but it was still handled without being cutesy or cloying. Let me try to find a better way to articulate it…

I ain't trolling, I just really don't get the hate these movies seem to get, considering what they are. I thought they were good, and at least comparable to the LOTR trilogy. Not the greatest shit ever made but definitely worth a few hours of my time.
