Drew seems to be going out of his way to be obtuse. She wasn't arrested for simply talking. She was arrested for disobeying an established rule and being a cunt about it.
No one was saying she couldn't use her phone. They were saying she couldn't use her phone in the one small area of the train where phone use was prohibited.
If I spit in my yard, am I going to get a ticket? No.
If I spit in an area where there's posted signs that say no spitting, could I get a ticket? Yes.
Did you know that if I were driving my car at a speed of 60 kph I could either get a ticket for going too fast or for going to slow? What a crazy world we live in!

It's more likely someone fucking snapped on her and everyone just erupted in a yelling match at some point. We don't know really know how things unfolded so it's a moot point IMO. It doesn't matter in the end. Charging her for talking on a phone is just nuts even if she was being annoying about it.
If the problem is someone being inconsiderate and annoying and aloof you should at least be willing to not be inconsiderate (literally, of the purpose of charging someone) and annoying about dealing with the situation.

You still don't get it (although I think you do and are just being obtuse like SSJN said). The cops had to get involved because she was getting "hostile" (read:violent), not just because she was breaking a "no-talking" rule. If the bitch didn't get hostile, I highly doubt the cops would have gotten involved.

You'd have to define rowdy and hostile but in most situations yes. The situation is resolved.
Because the situation as reported wasn't her being hostile towards patrons until they approached her. It was simply her speaking loudly. If you're willing to assume she just snapped at someone asking her to move I'm just as willing to assume the other passengers held quiet for so long that when they finally mustered up the nerve to deal with the situation they snapped at her to begin with, too.

. Now you're arguing semantics. If cops have to get involved, the example of "rowdy and hostile" I provided isn't the playful type. I guarantee you that any cop who has to come break up ANY fight/rowdy behavior will charge someone for distribuing the peace and said person will likely recieve a small fine (depending on their criminal record, of course). You're basically saying that shouldn't happen.
