Thread: Today's Random News

  1. I mean, this is a newer warehouse, maybe it isn't the same at every single one. But it's still incredibly damning. I'm still pretty torn on this.

  2. Last time I checked, employment at an Amazon warehouse has never been compulsory. If you're not happy working there, leave. I get that I'm supposed to be appalled and indignant that unskilled labor isn't the cushiest gig in America, but I'm not.

Amazon has always done right by me, so they will continue to receive my business.

  3. Work in the sweat shop or starve!
Andrew doesn't know there's a recession going on and even skilled workers are having to take shit jobs in order to bring in some kind of income.
    Andrew is a dummy.

  4. I'm not saying it doesn't suck. I'm just saying it isn't going to get me whipped up in some fury of consumer activism.

  5. This amazon thing really deserves its own thread (or at least feels really out of place in this one), I move the posts about it be split out.

So, possibly, the speed of light isn't actually the limit on how fast matter can go. If that ends up being the case physics just changed forever.

  10. All human knowledge is tentative.
